UL Approval Type
A battery pack must be installed according to its UL approval type. There are three UL924 marks for LED battery packs.
All products in LVS EPS’ LED-BP series are UL Listed for factory or field installation, allowing for the
greatest flexibility in the installation and specification process.
UL Recognized battery packs are approved only for factory installation. They are NOT approved for field installation.
UL Classified battery packs are approved for factory or field installation with the specific luminaires that UL has tested and approved them with.
UL Listed battery packs can be factory or field installed with any LED luminaire, provided they conform to the parameters set forth in the installation instructions. LVS EPS battery packs are UL LISTED, ensuring they are ready for use in all your projects
LED-BP-SLIM
LVS LED-BP-SLIM Series battery packs allow users to convert normal LED luminaires into approved emergency lighting luminaires.
Featuring a slim profile, the units can be mounted inside or outside of the luminaire.

During emergency operation, LED-BP-SLIM automatically transfers to battery power. The automatic voltage detection circuit matches the output voltage to your specific LED fixture, and runs it at constant power/light output for a minimum of 90 minutes. When the AC power is restored, the emergency LED-BP-SLIM Series switches the system back to normal mode of operation and resumes battery charging.

LVS LED-BP-COLD Series battery packs allow users to convert normal LED luminaries into approved emergency lighting luminaires in extreme cold environments.
Battery packs are able to withstand extremely low temperatures (-40°C to 50°C / -40°F to 122°F)
With the slimmest and lowest profile in the industry, these units can be mounted inside or outside of the luminaire.

When AC power is restored, the emergency LED-BP-COLD Series switches the system back to normal mode of operation and resumes battery charging. The LED-BP-COLD battery packs are able to operate at low temperatures during normal and emergency situations. These cold-weather battery packs have been created with an internal heating element and temperature-controlled circuitry that keeps the system from freezing.
